Dubai Police Receive Over 16,000 Calls In 24 Hours

Due to the heavy rainy weather in the UAE, the Dubai Police Command and Control Centre has received 16,610 calls in 24 hours. 

From 25 January noon time to 26 January noon time, the calls were received via the emergency numbers 999 and 901.

15,286 of the calls were made to the emergency number, while 1,324 calls were made to the non-emergency call centre.

Drivers are advised to drive with caution during adverse conditions and to be mindful of hazards, including flash floods and strong winds. 

Safety measures should also be followed while visiting the beach, and individuals are advised to avoid going into the water.
