Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has reduced the speed limit on Dubai-Hatta Road in the section between Dubai, Ajman and Al Hosn Roundabout.
The section of the road stretches 6 kilometres and the speed limit has been reduced from 100kph to 80kph with immediate effect.
The speed limit signs showing 100kph have been replaced with signs showing the new limit, and red lines will be marked at the start of the speed reduction zone to alert drivers.
