According to a survey by InterNations, Dubai and Abu Dhabi were rated as the top 10 cities for the best places to live for expats.
Dubai was ranked in the top 5 at number 2, and Abu Dhabi was placed at number 9.
Valencia in Spain was rated the highest at number one on the quality of life index.
Dubai received the second rank, with 66% of residents felt that dealing with local authorities is easy, and 88% are happy with government services.
Paris, Frankfurt and Johannesburg were rated the worst places to reside as expats.
