Dubai Health Authority has announced that all hospitals will be linked via a unified electronic medical record digital platform.
Unveiled at this year's edition of GITEX, the platform called NABIDH, will be available at all public and private hospitals in Dubai and will benefit doctors and service providers.
The platform will provide ease of accessing a patient's medical history from surgeries done, allergies and medication taken, for better treatment of the patient.
The setup of the systems at all hospitals is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
NABIDH is also linked to the Riyati, which is a digital healthcare platform at the UAE level by the Ministry of Health and Prevention.
