From September onwards, the new visa changes announced in April will come into effect.
The new changes will benefit employees, tourists, investors and family members of residents.
Tourist visas will be valid for 60 days rather than 30 days, allowing visitors to stay for longer.
Individuals with golden visas can now sponsor family members, children and staff, regardless of age and number as well as do not have a cap on the number of days they can stay outside the country.
Freelancers and individuals that are self-employed can now apply for a green visa which does not require an employer or sponsor.
Additionally, family members can now sponsor their children till the age of 25 years, with no age limit for unmarried daughters and children of determination.
