The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has announced that the UAE has reached a 100% vaccination rate for the targeted groups in the country.
The National COVID-19 Vaccination Campaign was aimed at vaccinating frontline workers, volunteers and residents based on the groups that were allowed to take the vaccine.
The vaccine helps in minimising the spread of the virus as well as reducing the number of positive cases.
As the vaccine was free of cost and available at all health centres as well as booster doses provided, the UAE was able to reach a fully vaccinated community quicker.
