Emirates Airlines is expecting to witness a surge in the number of passengers travelling over the weekends through Terminal 3 at Dubai International Airport.

Over 450,000 passengers will travel on around 1,600 flights over the next two weekends, from 2 and 3 July to 9 and 10 July.

High passenger traffic has already started and will run till 12 July.

To ensure the safety of passengers, all safety protocol including cleaning of seats and handrails, using contactless technologies, social distancing, managing the flow of passengers by airport staff, hand sanitising stations and more, has been introduced.

Passengers are advised to arrive at least three hours prior to their flight's departure in order to avoid facing delays as well as heavy traffic.

Before travelling, passengers need to review all the latest travel requirements to their final destinations including forms, vaccination certificates and negative PCR tests.

Passengers flying from Dubai to London, Barcelona, Madrid, Istanbul, New York JFK, Moscow, Frankfurt, Charles De Gaulle and Amsterdam can use the IATA Travel Pass to manage their COVID-19 travel documentation.

The First Class Lounge in Concourse B has also been opened to cater to passengers in the premium classes.
