In honour of The Hope Probe reaching Mars Orbit on 9 February, The Meydan Hotel is lighting up in red to show their support to the Mars mission.
The Hope Probe is the first Arab interplanetary mission and will capture pictures of the Mars atmosphere.
Every night up until 9 February, from 6pm till midnight, the wave shaped facade of The Meydan Hotel will be lit up.
Mohamed Shawky, Hotel Manager at The Meydan Hotel said, “We are very honoured to be a part of the nationwide ‘UAE in Red’ campaign and are thrilled to commemorate the Hope Probe landing by lighting up The Meydan Hotel's exteriors in red. This is not only a landmark occasion for the UAE, but for the region as a whole. We hope that the people of the UAE join us in showing their support as the country counts down to the 9th of February.”
