Dubai's Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management has announced some changes to the measures in place to prevent the spread of coronavirus COVID-19.
Effective from Wednesday 27 January, attendance at weddings, social events and private parties is limited to first degree relatives only and with no more than 10 people in attendance. This applies whether at an hotel or at a private residence.
In a further announcement, restaurants and cafes must increase the distance between tables from 2 metres ot 3 metres, and reduce the number of people permitted at each table down from 10 to 7 at restaurants and to 4 at cafes.
These announcements follow the announcement made recently that live entertainment in hotels and restaurants is temporarily suspended until further notice.
