A new competition called 'Emirati Futurism Award' has been launched that encourages the public to showcase their interpretation of what the future of Dubai will look like.
This competition is in partnership with Dubai Culture and the Dubai Future Foundation.
The competition invites designers and artists to share their interpretation of what Dubai will look like in the future in order to spread awareness of on the UAE's culture and heritage.
The competition consists of seven categories namely, Architecture and Urbanism, Fashion and Jewelry, Product and Industrial Design, Photography and Graphic Design, Film and Animation, Music and Performing Arts, and Fine Arts.
All the winners will receive a cash prize. Winners and second place winners will also get internship opportunities at various organisations.
The competition is open to all citizens and residents of the UAE and can apply through the Dubai Future website.

The award reaffirms our commitment to developing an infrastructure that stimulates cultural and creative sectors and fostering a sustainable cultural ecosystem that supports Dubai’s economic growth and strengthens the emirate’s position as a global centre for arts and culture, an incubator for creativity and a thriving hub for talent.”
