Dubai Airports recently celebrated the huge mark of welcoming its one billionth passenger, has launched a new brand identity bearing a fresh logo which will present Dubai Airports as an operator leveraging the use of technology and enhancing overall passenger experience.

Dubai Airports aim to ‘eliminate’ queues, and add more retail and visual spaces to both the airports, transforming them into vibrant and innovative spaces enhancing travellers cultural experience in the city.

“We don’t want anyone to have to queue. The idea is we will gradually introduce new technology, which will make the processes very efficient and quick. Not only then do passengers not have to wait, that means they’ll have a far more enjoyable experience and we will get greater capacity out of our airports because everyone will be moving much more quickly”, said Paul Griffiths, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Airports.

Though it sounds great to pass through an airport without having to stand in a queue at all, new changes will take “a few years to manifest”.

Once implemented, Dubai Airports will look like airports of the future where there will be no check-in desks, no immigration, and discreet security procedures such as facial scans.

Regular airport users, already benefit from the state of the art e-gates to skip the immigration lines, and having an airport with no queue at all will be perfect for all passengers using the airports.

Quick Fact- DXB handles an average of 7.5 million customers every month and in 2018,  it crossed the mark of 8.3 million customers in in three different months.
