An apology has been published by popular beach club Zero Gravity, for an inappropriate act by one of its guests and assured visitors of its ongoing strict hygiene controls. The incident occurred on Sunday 15 December, after a video showing a man performing an indecent act in the pool went viral. Once the incident was seen by security, the man was asked to leave immediately and subsequently banned.
On a statement posted on its Instagram account, the club said, “We regret that an unacceptable incident took place at Zero Gravity on Saturday 15 December. The well-being of our guests is our priority and we have zero-tolerance for any inappropriate conduct. We insist on the highest standards of behaviour at all times and we have immediately taken action to strengthen the implementation of our rules of conduct.”
The club also sought to assure guests that since the incident further and regular hygiene tests have been carried out to ensure its strict levels are maintained and were not adversely affected by the incident.
The statement continued, “Our guests can be assured that all water hygiene controls were in place at the time of the incident, including hourly water quality checks, and we have carried out a number of hygiene tests and activities since the incident to continue to protect the well-being of everyone who enjoys Zero Gravity."
