Driverless cars will officially start test runs in Dubai!

The future of technology is here and it will be visible in Dubai's Sustainable City. As part of the Dhs 1.2 billion development project in Dubailand, the Sustainable City project has 500 new homes, solar panels, and now in collaboration with the Roads and Transport Authority, self-driving cars that will begin to run on Al Qudra Road.

The partnership between RTA and the Sustainable City project was formed as a step to support the Dubai Government to make 25 percent of transport driverless by 2030 and both parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding. This will initiate studying the location to operate the vehicle, said Abdullah Yousef Al Ali, chief executive officer of RTA.

This will be an incredible development of technology in Dubai, and one resident are eagerly awaiting!
