The UAE, Dubai and even Dubai Police are all well known for creating and breaking many world records and only 2 weeks into the new year, yet another has been broken. Captain Abdulla Al Hattawi of Dubai Police broke the record for the longest distance achieved on the back wheels of an all terrain vehicle, basically the longest non-stop wheelie.
The previous record of 50 kilometres set in Canada and was held for almost 2 and half years until Captain Al Attawi smashed it on Friday morning while driving the 60 kilometres along Sheikh Zayed Road from Ghantoot to Dubai World Trade Centre on the back wheels of his dune buggy.
Captan Al Attawi was not alone on his record braking stunt, he was escorted by colleagues from Dubai Police including some of Dubai Police’s world famous supercars along with hundreds of bikers from Dubai’s biking community, as they made their way to the opening of the Dubai Bike festival which ran at the DWTC over the weekend.
