Emirates has announced that starting next month it would reduce flights to the US following the recent electronics ban and visa restrictions. The airline would be cutting down flights to five of the 12 US cities it currently serves including Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles and Seattle. A spokesperson said that Emirates will closely monitor the situation and reinstate US flight operations when needed. The airline has seen a significant decrease in booking on all US routes over the last three months. From 1st May and 23rd May, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando flights will be reduced from daily services to five a week. Seattle and Boston flights will move from twice-daily to a daily service. And from 1st July, Los Angeles flights will move from twice-daily to a daily service.
