Registrations are now open for the ninth edition of Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), set to run from 1 to 30 November. The annual initiative, inspired by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, encourages residents and visitors to take part in 30 minutes of activity daily for 30 days.
Last year’s edition attracted 2.7 million participants, and this year promises to be even bigger, coinciding with the UAE’s 'Year of Community'. The 2025 theme, 'Find Your Challenge', invites people of all ages and abilities to discover new ways of staying active while connecting with others.
Returning highlights include 'Dubai Ride' on 2 November and 'Dubai Run' on 23 November, transforming Sheikh Zayed Road and Downtown Dubai into cycling and running tracks for each day.
'Dubai Stand Up Paddle' takes place on 8 and 9 November at Hatta Dam, while the brand-new flagship event 'Dubai Yoga' on 30 November will close DFC with a citywide mindful exhale.
Participants can also enjoy three free Fitness Villages, offering everything from classes and workouts to dedicated ladies’ areas, group classes, basketball, football, padel and volleyball courts ready
There will also be dozens of community hubs, and thousands of classes across the city, alongside major international sporting events such as the DP World Tour Championship, Dubai Rugby Sevens, and Dubai Premier Padel.
Free registration is now open at DFC's official website.
