An open call has been announced for artists, designers, creative businesses, and manufacturers across the UAE to create official merchandise for the fifty fourth year of Eid Al Etihad, taking place on 2 December. Eid Al Etihad is an annual celebration marking the moment the UAE came together on 2 December 1971. The initiative highlights the country’s creative spirit while giving local talents the chance to contribute to one of the nation’s most important annual celebrations.
The call encourages participants to design items that go beyond simple products and create pieces that serve as tokens of memory, reflecting the UAE’s story of unity and belonging. In line with the Year of Community, the initiative seeks to celebrate diversity and strengthen bonds through creativity.
Selected works will be showcased as part of the official merchandise for the celebration, while all participants are encouraged to share their designs through the Eid Al Etihad website. Applications are open until 17 October.
