Great news for families and fans of Dubai’s favourite seasonal destination. Global Village has officially extended its closing date to 18 May, giving visitors an extra week to soak up all the multicultural charm the attraction has to offer.
Initially planned to close on 11 May, the popular venue has responded to overwhelming public demand by adding seven more days to its season 29. Earlier this week, Global Village also introduced free entry for children aged 12 and under, along with free tickets for tourists, available until the end of the season. Visitors are welcome daily from 4pm to 1am, and entry tickets starts from Dhs 25 per person.
More than just a shopping and dining destination, Global Village continues to shine as a cultural celebration. With pavilions representing countries from across the world, the venue showcases traditional crafts, foods and live performances, offering a quick trip around the globe in a single evening for families, including residents and tourists, in the UAE.
This year’s edition has brought several exciting upgrades. A new dining quarter, Restaurant Plaza, features two-storey restaurants with global menus and open-air seating. Families can stroll through redesigned areas like Fiesta Street or check out the refreshed Railway and Floating Markets, each bursting with street food and unique local flavours.
On the thrill-seeker side, the Carnaval zone remains a favourite with its mix of rides, games, and colourful amusements, perfect for children. Guests will also be able to access select Carnaval rides at just Dhs 50 for unlimited number of times, before closure.
