Dubai Welcomes Tourists With Free Global Village Tickets

Tourists arriving at Dubai International Airport and via the Hatta border crossing are in for a surprise, as free tickets to Global Village, one of the city’s top attractions, are being handed out as a warm gesture of hospitality.

This special initiative is part of the UAE’s 'Year of Community', and has been launched by the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA) in collaboration with Global Village. The aim is to introduce new arrivals to Dubai’s cultural richness while enhancing their travel experience.

The tickets are being distributed at immigration counters, giving visitors instant access to Global Village’s multicultural entertainment, food, and retail experiences during the final days of its 29th season, before the closure on 11 May.

Beyond offering a free outing, the initiative is also meant to reflect Dubai’s values of inclusivity, diversity, and community spirit. As the GDRFA notes, it supports Dubai’s image as a welcoming global destination that proudly celebrates its heritage while embracing the world.

The free tickets are handed out while stocks last at immigration counters, so arriving travellers are encouraged to check with airport or border staff upon entry.
