The Xposure International Photography Festival 2025 is showcasing an impressive lineup of 320 film screenings from 20 to 26 February at its new venue in Aljada, Sharjah. Screenings will run daily from 11.30am to 10pm, featuring award-winning documentaries, short films and compelling narratives.
This year’s highlights include:
- 'The Neighborhood Storyteller' – A documentary by Mexican filmmaker Alejandra Alcala on a Syrian woman’s mission to empower teenage girls through reading.
- 'Iraq’s Invisible Beauty' – A portrait of renowned Iraqi photographer Latif Al Ani, capturing the country’s history and transformations.
- 'Deep Hope - Le dernier refuge' And 'Under The Pole – 3 Days Beneath the Sea' – Stunning underwater documentaries exploring marine life.
- 'In the Union of Our Emirates: A Future Forged by History' – A film commemorating the UAE’s 50th anniversary.
The festival also spotlights emerging filmmakers through FANN Media Discovery Platform and Sharjah Youth, presenting regional talent with films like 'Noor', 'Maliha' and 'The Heart of a Camel Lover'.
