Travellers can now make purchases at Dubai Duty Free (DDF) using their home-country digital wallets. DDF, the world’s largest single airport retailer, has partnered with TerraPay, a global money movement company, to revolutionise the shopping experience for over 100 million customers.
This partnership is crucial given that TerraPay provides a single connection to one of the most expansive cross-border payment networks, enabling payments to over 150 receiving countries, over 210 sending countries, over 3.7 billion mobile wallets, 7.5 billion bank accounts and more than 12 billion cards.

Shoppers at Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport can now use popular digital wallets from their home-countries like Airtel Money, M-PESA and MTN MoMo to pay for their purchases. This means no more hassle with currency exchange or carrying multiple payment cards.
