One Za’abeel, the luxurious twin towers near Dubai World Trade Centre, has achieved another significant milestone. After earning a Guinness World Record in March 2024 for the 'Longest Cantilevered Building' with its spectacular sky concourse, The Link, One Za’abeel has now been featured in TIME magazine's World’s Greatest Places. TIME's annual list highlights 100 exceptional destinations, and One Za’abeel has been recognised as one of the top places to stay in the world.
TIME compiles this list by gathering nominations from its global network of correspondents and contributors, focusing on hotels, cruises, restaurants, attractions, museums, parks, and other venues that offer unique and innovative experiences.
TIME describes One Za’abeel as, "Even in a city with no shortage of gravity and logic-defying skyscrapers, the new One Za’abeel development by Japanese firm Nikken Sekkei is a head turner."
The magazine also praised Tapasake, the UAE's longest suspended infinity pool, calling it the 'crown jewel' of the resort. It provides breathtaking views of the sprawling cityscape while you relax in the pool.
One Za'abeel epitomises modern urban living in the heart of Dubai. This impressive development blends residential, commercial, and leisure spaces to offer Dubai residents an elevated lifestyle. Positioned strategically at the entrance to the Dubai International Financial District, it provides breathtaking 360° city views and easy access to the World Trade Centre. The 300-metre tall, 68-floor commercial tower features 26,000 square metres of premium Grade 'A' office space, Dubai’s first fully integrated fitness and wellness hotel, the SIRO Hotel, the One&Only Urban Resort for business professionals and travellers, and 94 serviced apartments along with nine exclusive penthouses managed by One&Only.
In terms of TIME magazine mention, Abu Dhabi’s Abrahamic Family House was also recognised as a standout new destination in the list. TIME highlights Abu Dhabi's Abrahamic Family House as an essential site for promoting mutual understanding, featuring a mosque, synagogue, and church.
