This marks a 24% increase from the previous year and is expected to draw over 92,000 delegates, strengthening the pipeline of attendees for future business events in Dubai.
These successful bids position Dubai to host prestigious international conferences, congresses, and incentive meetings well into 2028, spanning various sectors and professions. This achievement underscores the significance of business events in Dubai's Economic Agenda D33, aimed at doubling the city's economy by 2033 and reinforcing its global standing as a top destination to visit, live, and work.
Dubai Business Events (DBE), the city's official convention bureau, collaborated closely with stakeholders and industry experts to secure these marquee events. Dubai's reputation as a leading business events hub was further validated by accolades such as being ranked top in the Middle East by the International Congress and Convention Association for hosting association meetings in 2023 and by Cvent, an event planning and marketing company as the number one meeting destination in the Middle East and Africa.
The city's appeal for corporate and incentive events continues to grow due to its diverse destination offerings, extensive range of international hotels, world-class infrastructure, and easy accessibility. Notable events secured in the first half of the year include Modicare Advisors Incentive 2024, Vkusno i Tochka Convention 2024, World Agri-Tech Innovation Summit 2024, and OPPO Guangdong Mobile Communication Incentive 2025.
