The UAE is known for breaking world records. Between 2022 and 2023, the nation broke an impressive 123 world records. As we enter 2024, Al Ain has made history by breaking another world record. At the Al Ain Flower Festival, Al Ain Municipality unveiled the largest bouquet of natural flowers, setting a new Guinness World Record. This achievement adds to the country's long history of record-breaking accomplishments, highlighting its commitment to excellence and innovation.
The flower arrangement that broke the record spans 49 metres and stands seven metres tall, featuring over 7,000 blooms of different varieties. This accomplishment highlights Al Ain's status as a prominent destination for tourism and culture, demonstrating its commitment to providing unforgettable experiences for visitors.
What To Expect At Al Ain Flower Festival
At the Al Ain Flower Festival, until 14 March 2024, visitors can check out attractive flower displays, including 40 luminous flower sculptures and 11 creative artworks across the park.
The festival also provides opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses, with 30 stalls and food carts showcasing their products.
Being held at Jahili Park and organised by the Al Ain City Municipality in affiliation with the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, families can relax in a 170 metre shaded area designed for comfort and fun-filled activities. Lastly, entry to the festival is free, ensuring accessibility for all.
