Residents in the UAE can expect cooler temperatures in the coming days, with a drop of 2 to 4°C in Dubai until Friday. Whereas, in Abu Dhabi, temperatures could reach a low of 12°C. In terms of today's weather, it will be relatively cold, with temperatures around 25°C during the day and 17°C in the evening in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. There's a chance of light rain in some areas, and heavier showers are expected in Ras Al Khaimah.
The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reports medium to low cloud cover on Thursday, bringing some rainfall as a westward-moving low-pressure system passes through the region. The focus of rainfall will initially be in Ras Al Khaimah, extending to Fujairah and gradually moving eastward.
Coastal, northern, and eastern regions may experience rain, and temperatures are likely to further decrease. Waves in the Arabian Gulf are cautioned to be turbulent, especially for those at sea, while the Sea of Oman will have light to moderate waves.
The recorded lowest temperature today was 8°C in Raknah (Al Ain). Residents are advised to take precautions due to the turbulent sea conditions.
