UAE Weather: Thunder And Rainfall Predicted Throughout The Week

The UAE is in for a week of rain, with a predicted drop in temperature on Thursday, as per the National Centre of Meteorology's (NCM) five-day weather forecast. The NCM, on X, formerly known as Twitter, has alerted the public to brace for wet conditions starting from Wednesday.

The NCM has declared that varied-intensity rains are expected to hit the UAE from 15 November. Today, Tuesday, the weather will be a mix of fair and partly cloudy skies with mild to moderate winds. The lowest temperature recorded over the country today morning is 23.1ºC in Al Heben Mountain (Fujairah).

Temperatures might reach up to 36ºC across the country, but they are anticipated to drop to 34ºC in Abu Dhabi and 33ºC in Dubai. The mercury could plummet to as low as 22ºC in Abu Dhabi, 21ºC in Dubai, and 15ºC in mountainous areas.

Wednesday, 15 November, is anticipated to bring overcast skies to the country, with evening rains in the forecast. Thunder, lightning, and rainfall are expected on Thursday, 16 and Friday, 17 November, in the east, north, and coastal regions of the country. Ras Al Khaimah is also expected to see showers on Friday, as reported by windy.com.

On Saturday, 18 November, the weather is expected to improve, featuring partly cloudy conditions in the eastern part of the country, with the possibility of ongoing rainfall.
