Dubai is getting a new residential area that takes inspiration from Venice. Azizi Venice, built by Azizi Developments, a Dubai-based company, is coming up in Dubai South. Azizi Venice will have over 30,000 homes, including 100 mid-rise apartment buildings and more than 400 villas and mansions.
Currently, it's under construction on a vast 15-million-square-foot piece of land. This upcoming development will include Dubai's second opera house, in addition to a climate-controlled pedestrian walkway and various other facilities. Once completed, Azizi Venice will accommodate approximately 80,000 residents and become a tourist hotspot attracting around 30,000 daily visitors.
On the occasion of the announcement, Mr Mirwais Azizi, Founder and Chairman of Azizi Developments, commented: “Azizi Venice will truly be a one-of-a-kind community and destination – not just for Dubai but across the Middle East region. I am very pleased to be introducing Azizi Venice in Dubai. This community will become a wonderful home for around 80,000 residents and a fantastic tourist attraction for around 30,000 visitors daily.”
Located within Dubai South, Azizi Venice will also have areas for relaxation, shopping, and business activities. It will boast attractions such as a lagoon, beaches, and entertaining musical and dancing fountains. Additionally, the community will house two five-star hotels operated by Azizi, along with a boutique hotel situated on an island at the centre of the lagoon.
Residents will have access to educational institutions, a medical facility, a dedicated cycling and jogging path, yoga and sports amenities, and a waterfront promenade lined with dining options and speciality shops. Stay tuned for all the updates on Azizi Venice.
