The UAE Embassy in Washington DC, along with the Mohammed bin Rashid Space Centre and NASA, are hosting the final 'Call From Space' with Emirati astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi onboard the International Space Station (ISS). The United States edition will be the last one, before his return to Earth on 1 September.
The call will be held on 23 August at 8.15pm, and will be livestreamed on the NASA YouTube channel.
Sultan Al Neyadi will be joined by NASA astronaut Warren Hoburg, one of the four members of Crew-6, where the astronauts will share their experiences from their time aboard the ISS.
Previous editions from the 'Call From Space' series have been held in Umm Al Quwain, Ajman, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, Al Ain for his 42nd birthday, at Dubai Opera, and with students in Mauritius.
Sultan Al Neyadi is the first Emirati astronaut to perform a spacewalk, as well as to go on a six-month-long mission in space.
