Dubai Municipality's Parks And Facilities Saw Major Increase In Visitors

Dubai Municipality's public parks and recreational facilities have drawn a footfall of more than 16.7 million in the first half of 2025, marking an increase of over 250,000 compared to last year. The figures highlight the growing popularity of these spaces as essential spots for leisure, wellness, and tourism.

The city’s five major parks, including Zabeel Park, Mushrif National Park, Al Safa Park, Al Mamzar Park, and Creek Park, welcomed 3.7 million visitors, while 211 public parks around the city saw over 11.4 million visitors. The Quranic Park attracted around 813,000 visitors, Dubai Frame drew 748,000, and Children’s City welcomed 51,000.

Officials at Dubai Municipality said that ongoing upgrades have turned these spaces into year-round attractions combining culture, community, and entertainment. 

These facilities support major urban strategies including Dubai Urban Plan 2040 and the Dubai Quality of Life Strategy 2033. They also hosted more than 1,485 public events in the first half of the year, from sports to cultural festivals, cementing their role as vibrant community hubs.

With more than 220 public parks and attractions under its care, Dubai Municipality continues to enhance the city’s green spaces, ensuring they remain inclusive, world-class destinations for residents and tourists alike.
