Abu Dhabi Boosts Emergency Preparedness With New Al Ain Centre

In a major step toward enhancing public safety and emergency preparedness, the Emergencies, Crises and Disasters Management Centre, Abu Dhabi (ADCMC) has activated a Coordination and Monitoring Centre in Al Ain. The new centre aims to improve response times and ensure swift, effective coordination during emergencies in the region.

ADCMC continues to lead the development and implementation of emergency strategies in partnership with local authorities, ensuring the emirate remains prepared for a wide range of crises, from natural disasters to public health incidents.

As a key part of ADCMC’s strategic growth plan, the Al Ain centre supports the emirate’s broader vision of building a fully integrated and resilient emergency management system. Functioning as a critical extension of ADCMC’s main operations centre in Abu Dhabi, the facility will enable more localised decision-making and quicker on-ground action when it matters most.

Dr. Abdulla Hamarain Al Dhaheri, Executive Director of the Response and Recovery Sector at ADCMC, called the launch a 'strategic milestone' that aligns with Abu Dhabi’s commitment to public safety and institutional resilience, and noted, "Our approach is proactive, built on close collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure the highest levels of field coordination and readiness for all possible scenarios. The new centre will enhance field capabilities in Al Ain and ensure round-the-clock readiness for any emergency".
