Dubai Duty Free (DDF) has posted one of its best-ever July sales, reaching Dhs 638.8 million, marking an increase of nearly 10% from the same month last year. According to the officials, this places July 2025 in ninth place amongst the top ten months of sales records in DDF’s history.

Some of the strongest sellers were perfumes, gold, and confectionery items, with gold sales jumping 15.5% and chocolates soaring by 57% compared to sales during the same month last year. Watches and jewellery also proved popular, with double-digit sales growth.

Luxury fashion boutiques inside the airport, including Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Cartier, saw sales rise by over 11% compared to the same period last year, showing strong demand for high-end items. A newer trend is also taking off, which is second-hand or 'pre-loved' luxury. DDF’s REKLAIM boutiques, which sell authenticated pre-owned designer watches and handbags, made over Dhs 1.6 million in July alone, with Rolex watches proving to be one of the top choices.

As competition in global airport retail intensifies, DDF is investing in new concepts, digital engagement, and exclusive product lines. Officials say the brand is on track for one of the strongest years in its 41-year history.
