Wishful, the sister brand of Huda Beauty which specialises in skin care, hosted a beach cleanup in Dubai.
The cleanup was held at Secret Beach, the open public beach in Al Sufouh 1.
Connector joined the cleanup were along with other participants of the beach cleanup, were welcomed with refreshing drinks to stay hydrated, and fans to stay cool. Participants were each given bags to put general waste found at the beach and containers to collect cigarette butts.
Huda Kattan, founder of Huda Beauty thanked all those that attended the event, for doing their part in making a change to conserve the planet.
The event was held in collaboration with Goumbook, a company that aims to help make changes to reach sustainable development goals in the UAE.
In a previous cleanup, Goumbook collected over 5,000 cigarette butts within an hour.
Launched in February 2020, the brand is home to a variety of products from the honey balm jelly moisturiser to the yo glow AHA & BHA facial enzyme scrub.
Also in attendance were Mona Kattan, the Founder and Creative Head of Kayali Fragrances and Huda's younger sister, along with cast members of reality show Dubai Bling, Farhana Bodi, Loujain Adada and Ebraheem Al Samadi.
