Al Barsha Pond Park
One of Dubai's newer additions, Al Barsha park is a popular leisure and activity destination within the community. Situated around a main pond is a running and cycling track, with bicycle and quadricycles available for rent, as well as tennis and basketball courts. Aside from the expected playgrounds and shaded picnic areas, there is a mini funfair with bouncy castles and rides for the little ones. The park is also host to the Ripe Night Market on Saturdays between 4pm and 9pm, with food vendors, music, and shopping stalls, its a relaxed way to end the weekend.
Kite Beach
Pack your picnic basket and head to Kite Beach to enjoy some spectating of the kite surfers. This beach is known for high winds, which is ideal weather for these sports enthusiasts. It also offers great areas for sunbathing and picnics. It is open 24/7 and there is no admission fee.
Creekside Park
With so much on offer, it is no wonder this is a very popular outdoor destination in Dubai. You can enjoy long walks in the beautiful gardens or take a ride around the park on a two or four-person bike. It's good exercise and encourages teamwork.
