Though the name suggests breakfast, or at least it does to me, Eggspectation has a complete and interesting all day menu to choose from. That said, our friends told us we had to try the breakfast!
What we ate
I went for the Chicken Benedict, two perfectly poached eggs on grilled chicken with Gruyère cheese and a toasted English muffin, topped with their famous hollandaise sauce and served with Lyonnaise-style potatoes. My partner went, ambitiously I thought, for the All American Fill up with two any-style eggs, perfectly seasoned Lyonnaise-style potatoes, beef bacon, sausages, baked beans and toast. We washed our breakfast down with a Tropical Teaser - a mango, banana and pineapple blend with fresh orange juice, and a Go Bananas - banana, strawberry and yogurt with just a touch of honey.
Verdict
Delicious and filling! I couldn’t eat a thing for the rest of the day - great for the diet!
