The new month is here and October is always a fun month ending with Halloween!

If you are looking for a great laugh, then this new Hasan Minhaj show is the one to watch. The live one-man show will follow his highly raved comedy set, 'The Homecoming King' and will touch on fertility, fatherhood and freedom of speech.

Derry Girls: Season 3 - 7 October

Season 3, the final season of the the iconic Derry Girls, is released this month on Netflix. The show revolves around the lives of five teenagers as they navigate life and find themselves in absurd situations.

Somebody Feed Phil: Season 6 - 18 October

Food lovers, get ready to go on a trip around the world with Phil Rosenthal as he travels and tries out various local cuisines from Bangkok, Lisbon and Mexico City.

The School for Good and Evil - 19 October 

Based on the book series by Soman Chainani, the family-friendly movie will follow two best friends, Sofie and Agatha, who get taken to the School for Good and Evil, and find themselves on opposing sides of good and evil.

Catherine Called Birdy - 7 October

Set in mediaeval England, the movie starring Bella Ramsay, follows a 14-year-old girl as she avoids being set up with the potential suitors her father wants to marry her to.

The Peripheral - 21 October

Starring Chloe Grace Moretz, the television show is set in the future, where technology has altered the way society works. A woman then finds a connection to an alternate reality and a different life for herself.

The Devil's Hour - 28 October

The drama thriller The Devil's Hour, is a television show that will follow the journey of a woman that wakes up at 3.33am every night, which is also known as the devil's hour.

Disney+:

Werewolf By Night - 7 October

This television special by Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), is based on a comic character with the same name. As part of Phase Four of the MCU, the special will follow a secret group of monsters as they go on a hunt to find an ancient relic while also fighting other monsters.

The New Mutants - 14 October

Starring Anya Taylor-Joy and Charlie Heaton, the Marvel Cinematic Universe show is set at a secret facility where five young mutants that have gone through traumatic experiences, start having visions of their past and start doubting the facility.

The Mysterious Benedict Society: Season 2 - 26 October

The television show follows a group of gifted orphans that come together to work on a secret mission and form The Mysterious Benedict Society. The show starts Gia Sandhu and Seth Carr.

Big Trip 2: Special Delivery - 6 October

The sequel continues following Mic Mic and Oscar as they return from their adventure, and have to face Vulture, who is set to sabotage the delivery of the Grizzly cub to his opponent in the American presidential elections. Go on another adventure with the characters as they save the American elections and prevent the continent from an erupting volcano.

Black Adam - 20 October

The action movie, starring Dwayne Johnson, Pierce Brosnan and Sarah Shahi, is set 5,000 years after Black Adam was given powers from the Egyptian Gods, and then imprisoned. Now set free, he plans on bringing justice to the modern world.

Prey For The Devil - 27 October

While getting ready to perform an exorcism, a nun is met with a demonic force that she has faced in her past. The movie stars Colin Salmon, Virginia Madsen and Ben Cross.
