Middle East Film And Comic Con Will Return To Abu Dhabi In April 2025

After its record-breaking 12th edition, the Middle East Film and Comic Con will return for its 13th edition in Abu Dhabi from 18 to 20 April in 2025. As the region's biggest pop culture festival, the previous edition attracted thousands of visitors to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre for a weekend dedicated to celebrating the diverse community and passion for pop culture. From film, TV, sci-fi, anime, and manga to cosplay, gaming, comics, and collectables, the event showcased an array of interests and attractions.

In collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism, Abu Dhabi, Middle East Film and Comic Con is set to return with even more excitement. The 2024 edition featured a star-studded lineup, allowing fans to meet their favourite celebrities from various worlds including One Piece, Marvel, Star Wars, and more. 

Guests included Golden Globe-winning actor and producer Oscar Isaac, One Piece star Iñaki Godoy and co-star Taz Skylar, Harry Potter's Weasley twins, James and Oliver Phelps, iconic Star Wars actor Temuera Morrison; and Loki's Sophia Di Martino. 

Additionally, renowned voice actors like Troy Baker, Frank Welker, and Peter Cullen graced the event. Japanese voice actors Show Hayami, Toru Furuya and Yoichi Takahashi were also present, delighting fans with their presence.

The 2024 event offered fans a plethora of attractions to enjoy. 'Meet the Stars' allowed visitors to meet their favourite celebrities up close, creating unforgettable memories. Whereas the 'Comic Creators Club' gave fans an opportunity to commission artwork from industry legends. The 'Artist Alley' featured local and regional artists showcasing and selling their latest creations. And in the Festival Plaza, live music and dance performances entertained fans of all ages while food trucks served delicious treats for families and friends to enjoy while watching the festivities.
