In just four days since the launch of the 'World’s Tallest Donation Box', the Burj Khalifa is now lit up with over 393,000 lights.
Each light represents a Dhs 10 donation towards the '10 Million Meals' initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, that aims to provide food support for those affected by the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. Each light purchased provides one meal for someone in need over the Holy Month of Ramadan.
The donations that have reached over 393,000 lights so, far has lit up 46 floors of Burj Khalifa, with the aim being to light up the 1.2 million lights on the world’s tallest building.
