In accordance with the announcement by the Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management on the lifting of some of the restrictions in place during the 24 hour National Disinfection Programme, malls across Dubai have gradually began some operations again.
Al Futtaim malls across the UAE opened on Saturday 25 April as did mal of th Emirates, with operating hours of noon to 10pm.
Family entertainment, cinemas, gyms and prayer rooms will remain closed. Car parks will also be at limited capacity of 75% and there will be no valet parking. Those over 60 years old and children between 3 and 12 years old are not permitted to visit a mall and strict social distancing measures will be in place.
Dubai Mall also took to Twitter to announce that it will opening again on 28 April with operating hours between noon and 10pm.
According to the new rules, visitors are required to follow all safety guidelines when in a mall.
