Emirates will run a special one-off flight with the aim of bringing together as many of the different communities that live in the UAE, and make this one of the most multi-cultural countries in the world.
As part of the Year of Tolerance, the Dubai based airline will operate flight EK2019 on 29 November, welcoming passengers on board from as many nationalities as possible. The one-off flight will make a special journey around the UAE and will be taken in an A380, specially commissioned for the flight with its livery decorated to demonstrate the multi-cultural make up of the UAE. The special "Year of Tolerance" livery, running the length of the plane on both sides, will show people from different backgrounds holding hands.
