According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), the UAE is set to experience another surge in summer heat today, with temperatures reaching up to 49°C.
NCM also forecasts that the heat will be accompanied by intermittent cloud cover and chances of light to moderate rainfall in some areas. Al Ain is expected to receive heavy rain today, with further inland showers possible on Tuesday.
The rest of the country will continue to see hot and dry conditions, typical of late summer, along with dusty weather.
