Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has warned that some bus routes may be temporarily suspended due to heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds that affected the UAE overnight from Thursday into early Friday, 27 March.
Authorities said passengers should expect delays as unstable weather, including lightning, thunder, intense downpours, dust-laden winds and reduced visibility, continues to affect transport services.
Bus services to Sharjah and Ajman were temporarily suspended on Thursday, 26 March following water accumulation on roads.
Updates will be shared once services resume, while authorities continue monitoring conditions and responding to developments across the country.
