Dubai Women Establishment hosted the Emirati Women’s Forum at The Ritz Carlton, DIFC, to mark the tenth Emirati Women’s Day on 28 August, yesterday. Held under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, President of the UAE Gender Balance Council and President of Dubai Women Establishment, the event brought together senior officials, experts, and nearly 700 executive leaders from government, semi-government, and private sectors.
The forum featured ten panel discussions celebrating Emirati women’s achievements across diverse fields, from science and education to culture and leadership. Speakers highlighted the vital role of women in shaping the nation’s progress and shared insights on further strengthening their contributions to the UAE’s development.
Her Highness Sheikha Manal extended her gratitude to the nation’s leadership, for their unwavering support in empowering women, and also praised Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the Mother of the Nation, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, for her historic role in advancing women’s rights and opportunities.
The strong participation at the forum reflected the government’s deep commitment to supporting women, strengthening collaboration between sectors, and ensuring Emirati women remain key partners in national development.
