Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has confirmed the service hours of public transport network for this Friday, 27 June, which had been announced as a public holiday in observance of Islamic New Year.
RTA confirmed that Dubai Metro will run from 5am to 1am the following day, while Dubai Tram will operate from 6am to 1am the following day. Revised schedules will be in effect to meet holiday travel demand.
RTA also confirmed that public parking across the city will be free of charge, except for multi-level parking terminals, where standard fees will continue to apply. Normal parking tariffs will resume on Saturday, 28 June.
Customer Happiness Centres and vehicle testing centres will remain closed on Friday. However, smart Customer Happiness Centres in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, and the RTA headquarters will remain operational throughout the day, allowing residents to access key services online and via kiosks.
