55,000 People Across Dubai Benefit From RTA's Ramadan Initiatives

During Ramadan this year, Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) successfully carried out 20 community projects with the help of RTA employees and volunteers, benefiting 55,000 people across the city.

The projects included Iftar meals for 30,000 individualsMeals On Wheels for 15,500 workers and drivers, and Eid gifts for orphans and seniors. RTA focused on supporting low-income families, People of Determination, and transport workers. Over 350 volunteers contributed over 1,500 volunteer hours, reinforcing Dubai’s culture of giving and social responsibility.

This was done in partnership with Dubai Police General Headquarters, the Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department, Dubai Charity Association, Al Etihad Charity Foundation, Beit Al Khair Society, KEOLIS-MHI, Noon Food, Green Hands, and Ma’an

The initiatives also included reading workshops for children and Eid celebrations, aligning with the UAE’s Year of Community vision.
