UAE Weather Alert: Rain, Thunder And Dusty Conditions Ahead

Residents across Dubai, Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, and Fujairah experienced rain, thunder, and lightning on Tuesday morning, following a forecast from the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM)

In Dubai, NCM also reported light rain in areas such as Al Aweer, Al Quoz, Palm Jumeirah and Deira, while thunder and lightning were observed in Jebel Ali and other coastal regions. Similar rainy conditions were recorded across other emirates, including Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain and Ras Al Khaimah.

The NCM has issued a yellow alert for rough seas, warning residents to be cautious during outdoor activities

Additionally, light to moderate Northeasterly winds of up to 40kph could cause dusty conditions, reducing visibility on the roads.

The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy at times, with temperatures dropping to 16°C in internal parts of the UAE and reaching a high of 29°C in mountainous areas.

Drivers and outdoor enthusiasts are advised to stay alert for changing weather conditions, exercise caution while driving, and check updates from official weather sources before making any travel plans.
