The start date of the new variable pricing for Salik toll gates in Dubai, has been announced.
The new variable pricing, confirmed in December 2024, will be effective from 31st January 2025.
Under the new system, toll charges will vary depending on the time of day:
- Weekday Peak Hours (6.00am - 10.00am and 4.00pm - 8.00pm): Dhs 6
- Off-Peak Hours (10.00am - 4.00pm and 8.00pm - 1.00am): Dhs 4
- Late Night Hours (1.00am - 6.00am): No toll charges
- Sundays (excluding public holidays and special events): Dhs 4 all day, with no toll charges between 1.00am and 6.00am
These charges apply throughout the year with the exception of the Holy Month of Ramadan where the charges will be:
- Weekday Peak Hours (9.00am - 5.00pm): Dhs 6
- Off-Peak Hours (7.00am - 9.00am and 5.00pm - 2.00am): Dhs 4
- Late Night Hours (2.00am - 7.00am): No toll charges
- Sundays (excluding public holidays and special events): Dhs 4 all day, with no toll charges between 2.00am and 7.00am
