The General Command of Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Distribution have introduced their free inspection service for light vehicles this summer.
As temperatures in the UAE rise, the risk of tyre bursts and subsequent accidents also increases. Therefore, it is essential to have your vehicle thoroughly inspected. This initiative includes checking tyres, brakes, oil, the radiator, air conditioning, and other critical components. It reflects a collaborative effort to encourage drivers to undergo comprehensive vehicle inspections during summer.
Inspections are available at 12 ADNOC Distribution service and vehicle inspection centres. A comprehensive list of inspection sites can be found on ADNOC's website, enter your location in Abu Dhabi to find the nearest centre.
This initiative aims to enhance driver and road user safety during the summer months.
Dubai Police also launched the 'Summer Without Accidents' campaign on 9 July, which includes free car inspections at AutoPro centres throughout the UAE until the end of August. This service is available to all private car owners. It focuses on key maintenance areas like air conditioning, tyre pressure, and engine health, to ensure vehicle safety during the hot months.
