Dubai has launched a wedding programme for young Emiratis in the emirate to get married. Known as the Dubai Wedding Programme, this programme encourages young citizens to get married and is offering incentives to help reduce their wedding costs. The incentives include marriage planning services, family management, financial advice for young couples, and more. Launched by Dubai's Community Development Authority, it aims to reduce the monetary burden on citizens and provide them with stability and a better quality of life.
The programme also covers wedding hall costs across locations, the wedding locations include venues in Al Barsha, Al Lisaili, Hatta and soon Al Twar Hall.
The programme is part of the Dubai Social Agenda 33, a Dhs 208 billion plan announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. The theme is 'Family: The Foundation of Our Nation,' with a key focus of the agenda on Emirati families in Dubai, covering aspects such as housing, quality of life, identity, values, social cohesion, healthcare, and future skills.
