His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has introduced the Dubai Social Agenda 33 for the decade until 2033. The theme is 'Family: The Foundation of Our Nation,' with a dedicated budget of Dhs 208 billion until 2033.

The key focus of the agenda is on Emirati families in Dubai, covering aspects such as housing, quality of life, identity, values, social cohesion, healthcare, and future skills. The agenda aims to double Emirati families within a decade and position Dubai among the world's top 3 cities in living standards.

His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; and His Highness Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai; and their brothers will oversee the social welfare programmes.

Aligned with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), the Social Agenda emphasises sustainable social development and services in healthcare, housing, education, culture, sports, and community.

Five main objectives include fostering happy, cohesive, and tolerant families, promoting a robust healthcare system, creating a future-focused education system, developing a proactive social system, and improving housing, culture, arts, infrastructure, and community sports.
