The 18th edition of the Dubai Airshow is running from 13 to 17 November, featuring more than 1,400 exhibitors hailing from 95 different countries at Dubai World Central (DWC). Those eager to witness the live action can do so at the Dubai Airshow's Skyview, a purpose-built grandstand arena specifically designed for the 2023 edition.
This viewing area is open to the general public, including families and children, providing an opportunity to spectate the impressive daily flying display featuring top pilots operating cutting-edge military aircraft, opulent private planes, and esteemed commercial airliners from the runway.
As for flying, some of the teams include
- Frecce Tricolori, the Italian Air Force’s aerobatic demonstration team
- Fursan Al Emarat, the United Arab Emirates Air Force aerobatic display team
- Sarang, the helicopter air display team of the Indian Air Force
- August 1st, the aerobatic demonstration team of the People's Liberation Army Air Force (Chinese Air Force)
When it comes to Skyview grandstand, it offers the general public an immersive experience to delve into the rich history of the aviation industry. It presents the opportunity to meet the real heroes of the skies and space, featuring daily appearances by pilots and astronauts.
Alongside, there will be live entertainment from military bands and DJs, adding to the vibrant atmosphere. Additionally, military and police units will be showcasing their collections and sharing their expertise, enriching the experience within the arena.
Skyview at the Dubai Airshow is a free-to-attend event. There is no registration required and seating operates on a first-come, first-served basis, while parking is available but in limited supply. The grandstand will welcome visitors from 1pm to 5.30pm between 13 to 17 November. For the general public, access is restricted to the Skyview grandstand arena exclusively, excluding entry to the main Airshow exhibition hall.
